Odin’s Summer Ale

Ale and mead are a part of most ancient cultures, including that of my ancestors in Norway. Norwegian Farmhouse Ale dates back to 1066 and this version has the same elements as those hundreds of years old. It is brewed with ground juniper, malt and kveik yeast. Brewing in ancient Norway was almost exclusively done by women so as a testament to them and my own heritage I chose this as the first beer I would develop as a Brewer. This is a light, refreshing, slightly spicy summer ale (Table Beer). Look for a higher ABV, fuller bodied version in the winter. Skål!
